v0.3.0 Latest released
  • College sports are here — NCAA football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball and hockey, all in the same guide as the pros.
  • College games show national rankings, records and conferences, so you can tell a top-10 matchup from a filler game at a glance.
  • ESPN+ is now its own filter, separate from ESPN — you only see games you can actually watch.

// Features

  • NCAA coverage across six college sports.
  • A new All / Pro / College switch above the league list — pick a level and the list follows.
  • Pick a college sport and you get Top 25 and conference filters (SEC, Big Ten, ACC, Big 12, and the rest behind More).
  • College game cards show the national ranking before the school name, plus records, conference, neutral-site games, and the live quarter or half with the clock.
  • ESPN+ is a separate service filter from ESPN.
  • The Featured Game strip now shows a main game plus two more worth watching, and takes up less room.
  • The globe became "Around the country" — pick a game and it spins to the venue, live games stand out, and you can collapse it or use the plain venue list instead.

// Fixes

  • A live F1 race showed as an upcoming Friday practice session. Race weekends now show the session that's actually on — practice, qualifying or the race — with the right start time and the circuit.
  • The My Services picker could grow taller than a phone screen, hiding the close button and the Save button with no way out except force-quitting the app. It now always fits.
  • Every service now shows its real logo instead of a text placeholder, in both light and dark mode, all in a single monochrome style.
  • Event counts across the app now agree with each other and with what is actually on screen.

// Improvements

  • The service filter is a single scrollable row instead of a block that grew every time a service was added.
v0.2.1 released
  • Dark mode — tap the ◐ in the header, or let it follow your phone.
  • World Cup games now show up, on FOX in English and Peacock in Spanish.
  • Pull down to refresh, and a note telling you what's new after each release.

// Features

  • Dark mode, with the option to follow your device.
  • Pull down to refresh, with a branded splash while it loads.
  • A "What's new" note the first time you open the app after a release.

// Fixes

  • World Cup games were missing — FOX (English) and Peacock (Spanish) broadcasts are now mapped.
  • The service filter took up about a third of the screen on a phone before you saw a single game.
  • Removed the "may be blacked out" caution from game listings — it applied too broadly to be useful.
  • Dark mode contrast, the theme toggle jumping onto its own row, and logo and icon sizing.

// Improvements

  • The schedule is scoped to today, so the feed is what's on now rather than a long lookahead.
  • Streaming-service mapping moved to a single source of truth, so a service only has to be added in one place.
  • Automated browser tests now run on every change, so releases stop breaking things that used to work.
  • Hardened the deploy so a bad build is caught before it goes live.
v0.2.0 released
  • Install Live Slate like a real app — add it to your home screen on iPhone or Android.
  • Works offline: the app opens even when you don't have a connection.

// Features

  • Add Live Slate to your home screen — it launches full-screen, no browser bar.
  • Offline support: the app shell loads and stays usable without a connection.
  • A friendly prompt that walks you through installing it.

// Improvements

  • Added an automated quality check on every release so performance and the install experience don't regress.
v0.1.1 released
  • Bug-fix release — bundled services now surface the right games, and new updates show up the moment they ship.

// Fixes

  • Max / HBO Max games now show up correctly — previously some games on bundled services were missing from the schedule.
  • Updates appear right away instead of being hidden behind stale browser caches, especially on mobile.
  • Fixed an off-count in the games-tonight counter.

// Improvements

  • Added a Cloudflare rule that challenges non-browser bot traffic, keeping the site fast and clean for real visitors.
v0.1.0 released
  • Live Slate is live — see what's on tonight across every sport and streaming service in one place.

// Features

  • Tonight's schedule view: every game on tonight, at a glance.
  • Sport tabs to jump between leagues.
  • Service filter chips — narrow the schedule to just the streaming services you actually pay for.
  • Knows which app carries which channel, so you go straight to where the game is.
  • Deployed behind a Cloudflare tunnel.
